It is a great idea to plan to stay in Ushuaia for a few days before or after your expedition, since this citty offers a lot of different options for you to enjoy!

How long are the expeditions?

Expeditions vary in length, from 8-21+ days.

Where do the expeditions go?

This depends on a combination of factors. The length of the expedition, the expedition company, the Expedition Leader, the ship and the weather and ice conditions all have an impact on where you will go

Where do we sleep & eat when in Antarctica?

The ship will be our floating home throughout the voyage, so we sleep and eat on the ship while in Antarctica.

Will we make a landing on the Antarctic continent?

Most Antarctic Peninsula expeditions do include a landing on the continent

What amenities are offered on board the ship?

You will enjoy of the different amenities such bar/lounge area, presentation room equipped with projector, screen and sound system, and all the public areas, inside and out, will be at your disposal while you are on board.

What are adventure activities?

Adventure Activities include activities such as kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountaineering, scuba diving and camping. These activities are interesting and exhilarating opportunities to get to know Antarctica on a different level.
